I began taking photos of flying aircraft in the mid-1980s when I was working as a technical advisor for Nikon and had to test the new automatic focus technology being introduced in SLR cameras. I found that the technology worked to an extent. As the technology improved, so did my photos. I have since shot for some of the top aviation and defense publication in the world covering both military and civilian aviation and aerospace.
